How Does it Work?
How can you make your dream novel come alive?
At Infinite Novels, we offer you the simplest way to fully generate the novel you've been dreaming of with the helping hand of AI. Have you been longing to read a high fantasy epic about a small race of half-racoon humanoids? Or a sci-fi mind opener that shatters the concepts of time and space and what it means to be a multi-dimensional travelling toast? Or perhaps you want to craft an adventure novel that tells the adventures and misadventures of you and your best-friend in a magical school? Whatever novel you're looking for, we got it!
To create a new, full length novel, all you need is a description of it. Big, small, detailed, abstract, that's up to you. The more details you give, the closer the story will be to what you describe. If you leave it open, our AI bard will have more freedom to pleasantly surprise you.
And well... that's pretty much it. As simple as we could make it. You provide a description of the book you want, and we do all the rest. When our AI novelist has finished the novel which normally takes a couple of hours, you'll get in your email box your exciting new novel in ePub and pdf formats, neat cover and all.
Description Advice
When it comes to describing your dream novel, you're the expert.
If you're simply looking to read a novel about the love story of two penguins in the arctic and would like to be surprised by the story line, then all you need to write is, for example: "A novel about the love story of two penguins in the arctic." That's it, you'll get a full novel about it.
If you want more control and already have in mind characters, their names, main characteristics, and perhaps even a storyline or even particular chapters, then include all that into your description. Use whatever format you want to use: a list of events and characters; an unstructured train of thought; or even a poem if you're feeling inclined. The more you add, the closer the story will be to what you're looking for. There are no guarantees that our AI novelist will keep everything exactly as you said, AI tends to take some artistic liberties here and there. However, from our experience, most if not all of the described details end up in the generated novel. We've done our best to ensure it!
Our AI Novelist
But who, or what, writes the novel after all? Well, our AI novelist does. We've developed an algorithm that expands the current LLM (Large Language Model) AI implementations, to be able to generate full size novels. These are the AI models behind OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini. LLMs are usually trained to generate small amounts of text, around a page worth of it. If you try to have them generate more text, things don't go according to plan. They are unable to generate a full sized chapter for a book, much less a full novel.
We've empowered these technologies to be able to define a storyline and then tackle the arduous job of writing it: beginning to end, all the hundreds of pages worth of it. Our AI novelist writes novels that are between 200 and 500 pages long. Sometimes it gets a bit carried away and writes novels that are even longer than that, but that is rare.
Is our AI novelist as good as a professional writer? No, not really. At Infinite Novels, we value the work of real, human writers. AI cannot replace them, nor is that our objective. The books that we generate are something different to a human written novel. Much like a handmade, luthier guitar is different from a mass produced, factory guitar. But sometimes, you want to read something that was never written by a human, much like a musician might want to play an instrument no human ever invented. And when that happens, our AI novelist is here to save the day! (Not regarding the musical instrument, we can't invent those... yet...)
Our AI novels have some flaws and imperfections, we are aware of them and keep working hard to improve our product. If you read our provided example books in the AI Novel Library tab, you'll get a taste for the sort of book you'll be getting, with all the faults there for you to see. But in between the flaws, there is a story worthy of being read. And above all, it's your novel. No one before you has ever read it. If you so decide, no one after you will ever read it. It's yours.
